REGULATOR FUNCTION

To have a simple on/off valve that delivers “all or nothing” pressure will “hit” your tank with high pressure.  Also, you must limit the volume of gas exiting the tank, so that you do not exceed the designed maximum fill pressure for your PCP air rifle. This tank has two features which allow a slow and controlled fill of your PCP air rifle.

The gauge measures the output pressure going from the tank to the gun. It accurately monitors the charging back-pressure to the PCP air rifle’s own built-in tank. The operating knob allows filling your PCP air rifle gradually, in a controlled manner.

This combination of the slow fill valve and gauge allows a correct and safe air rifle fill to the required pressure – so long as you do your part.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

  • Shots per tank depends on the velocity of your marker. If you use a longer barrel, you are using a higher volume of air to propel the paintball to the desired velocity. The more air used, the less shots per tank. Certain low-pressure markers require a minimum length for the barrel; thus, if you use a shorter length then more air will similarly be required.
  • With both CO2 and HPA propellants (under pressure), the colder the outside temperature becomes, the less shots per tank can be achieved. This is because as the temperature lowers, so does the tank pressure, with a resultant increased volume of gas used per pump. This reduces the overall capacity under these conditions.
  • For more information about choosing a propellant for your air gun, please refer to online resources.
  • Keep in mind that different markers have different efficiency rates.

Note: Filled tanks cannot be shipped and are available in store only, for an extra fee. Hence you must fill the tank upon purchase. Please look online for guidelines about filling your air tank at home, or please consult your airsoft dealer or appropriate hardware store.

BALLISTIC

Ballistic Co2 gas canisters and PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) pumps play a crucial role in the world of airsoft and paintball. These items are essential resources for powering these popular recreational activities. These products are integral to the functioning of airsoft and paintball guns. It ensures that players have a reliable source of propulsion for their projectiles. Co2 gas canisters are commonly used in airsoft and paintball guns due to their convenience and portability. These canisters contain pressurized carbon dioxide. (CO2). CO2 is a gas that expands rapidly when released. When inserted into a compatible gun, the Co2 canister provides the necessary power to propel the projrctiles with accuracy and force. On the other hand, PCP pumps are favored by more serious and dedicated airsoft and paintball enthusiasts. These pumps allow users to charge a reservoir with high-pressure air. PCP pumps are known for their reliability and can be used repeatedly, making them a cost-effective choice for those who engage in these sports regularly. Both Co2 canisters and PCP pumps are designed with safety in mind. Co2 canisters feature pressure relief valves to prevent over-pressurization, and PCP pumps are equipped with gauges to monitor and control the air pressure. Additionally, they are easy to handle and transport, making them suitable for players of all skill levels. In conclusion, the production and availability of Ballistic Co2 gas canisters and PCP pumps are essential for the airsoft and paintball communities.
