Description
Buck Knives 110 Slim Select Folding Knife – Blue
DESCRIPTION
The Buck Knives 110 Slim Select Folding Knife – Blue is an EDC knife based on an American classic, possesses the same traditional features but sports a more modern look. The deep carry pocket clip is added based on the overwhelming customer demand and allows for quick and easy access in any situation. The 8.625″ knife folds down to 4.875″ when closed for easy carry. With easy one-handed opening, the 420HC stainless steel blade provides supreme edge retention and is finished with Buck’s Advanced Edge2x Blade Technology. To decrease the weight and thickness, the heavy bolster and handles are replaced with lightweight moulded nylon while still maintaining the same quality and rigidity of the original 110.
This is Buck’s standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add our exclusive heat-treat process, and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance, we harden to a Rockwell hardness of RC 58.
The crescent tip makes the blade thinner with a sharper point. This shape provides good control for detail work and cutting in tight places. It is also well suited for intentional punctures like new holes in your belt, etc. While the point of the blade is effective for detail work, it’s not as strong as the thicker points on drop points and Skinners.

Buck is known for producing high-quality, affordable knives. These knives are built to last and look great no matter how much time passes. If traditional knives are your thing (if they aren’t, they should be) Buck has the right mix of folding and fixed blade knives for any occasion.
In fact, one of the most famous and recognizable knives of all time, the 119 Speical, dates back to WWII. It’s hard to imagine this line got its start in the 1940’s when Buck Knives founder, Hoyt Buck, was tempering file blades and molding Plexiglas handles to donate knives to our troops during WWII.
