The Buck Knives 112 Slim Select Folding Knife – Black series offers a streamlined EDC version of the classic 112 pocket knife. This 112 Slim model is outfitted with gray GFN handle scales and a classic 112 clip point blade. Buck’s customers have long asked for a slim EDC knife with the dependability of a 112, and Buck has finally delivered with the Slim Select Series. The 112 Slim Ranger Select provides a stylish EDC update to the time-tested 112 design.
Textured glass-filled nylon handle scales provide a light build and a secure grip. Dual thumb studs and a reversible deep carry pocket clip offer fully ambidextrous use. Stainless steel lockback mechanism to secure Buck 112 lock up. Show Less
Lockback Folding knives have a mechanism that look the blade in the open position, activated by opening the blade all the way. A lock back gets its name from a rocker partially visible on top of the knife. Opening the blade causes the rocker to lock against the blade, so it locks open. Pushing down on the rocker on top of the handle releases it and enables the user to close the blade. Lockbacks require two hand closing, though some are one hand openers.
