The Celestron Astromaster 130EQ with Phone Adapter and T-Adapter/Barlow mount features two slow-motion control knobs. These knobs allow for precise adjustments in both Right Ascension (RA) and Declination (DEC). With this telescope, you can explore our Solar System quickly. The setup is easy and requires no tools, so you’ll be ready to observe in minutes.

The 130EQ delivers bright, clear images of the Moon, planets, star clusters, and more. This makes it great for nighttime viewing. The telescope comes with useful accessories, including a 20mm and a 10mm eyepiece, a smartphone adapter, a T-Adapter/Barlow lens, and a finderscope. The two eyepieces provide different magnifications for both low and high-power views. The 20mm eyepiece includes a built-in erect image corrector.

The Barlow and T-Adapter function as a 2X Barlow lens. You can insert any 1.25″ eyepiece into the chamber for double magnification while keeping the same eye relief.

The smartphone adapter lets you capture images of celestial or terrestrial objects. Its lightweight, rigid frame connects any smartphone to a telescope eyepiece with a 34mm outside diameter. The additional magnification helps your phone take great images of the Moon and planets. Installing the adapter is simple; just place your smartphone over the eyepiece and tighten the knobs. Most phones fit with their cases on, but some bulky cases may need to be removed.

Additionally, download Celestron’s Starry Night Software. This software helps you learn about the night sky and plan your observing sessions. It is a top-tier astronomy package that provides valuable resources to explore our solar system and beyond.
