The Hawke Vantage 3-9×40 IR Riflescope – Rimfire .22 High Velocity Reticle is a versatile optic designed for mid to long-range shooting. This riflescope features a partially illuminated crosshair reticle with five selectable brightness levels in red or green. The red illumination is ideal for low-light conditions, while the green setting provides enhanced visibility in bright sunlight. The 40mm objective gathers ample light to produce bright images, while maintaining a low-profile design.
The riflescope includes covered turrets that protect against accidental adjustments. A fast-focus collar and knurled rheostat allow for quick, precise adjustments in dynamic conditions. Its lightweight, durable anodized aluminum housing ensures reliable performance, and the 1″ mono-tube maintube is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed, making it both waterproof and fogproof.
A unique feature of this riflescope is its registered reticle design, exclusive to Hawke. The reticle’s aim points are specifically calculated for the .22 LR High Velocity (HV) caliber, offering exceptional downrange accuracy. The reticle includes distances etched into the field of view, with the design optimized for use at maximum magnification.For the .22 LR HV, zero the scope at 9x magnification for 50 yards, and use the pre-calculated aim points for accurate holdovers. The scope also supports a 50-meter zero when set to 7.8x magnification, with aim points calibrated in metric.
