The Lee Charging Die Kit includes both Lee Short and Long Charging Dies. These dies work with the Auto-Disk, Pro Auto-Disk, and Auto-Drum Powder Measure. This kit is designed for reloading rifle cases that are .860 to 2.620 inches long. It handles bullet diameters of .223 and larger.

Unlike the Pistol Powder Through Expanding Die, these dies don’t expand the case mouth. Instead, case expansion for rifles occurs during the sizing process in the Sizing Die. This makes it ideal for reloaders who want efficient and precise case charging without the need for extra steps in mouth expansion.

The Short Charging Die handles shorter cases, while the Long Charging Die manages longer rifle cases. This flexibility allows users to reload a range of calibers and case lengths without needing separate equipment for each size.
