This is especially beneficial during sustained strings of fire, where heat from the barrel can cause distortion, hindering accuracy and target acquisition. With the Mirage Shield, you’ll experience a sharper, clearer view, ensuring that you stay on target.
For hunters and tactical operators, the Mirage Shield also offers the ability to attach a night vision optic to the system. This adds a layer of versatility to your rifle setup, enabling you to transition seamlessly from daylight to low-light conditions, ideal for both tactical operations and nocturnal hunting.

Please Note: The MDT ACC Chassis Premier Mirage Shield is not recommended for use with barrels larger than 1.125 inches at the muzzle. To ensure proper alignment of the night vision optic, it must be used with the MDT High Scope Base on the action.
